Membership

Membership Requirements Mystik Brews has a few requirements for membership. In order to be a member of Mystik Brews, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Have an email address that we can reach you at. Be active and remain active within the group. Until we get our forms up and running, we ask that you please send us an email with the following information, if you wish to join our group. Name Email Address Age and Birthdate (MM/DD) URL Path and experience (i.e.: For myself it would be Wicca, 1985, solitary witch) What do you expect to get out of the group What do have to offer to the group Why do you want to be a member Tell us a little about yourself Which Committees are you interested in joining. (Must be pick at least 1. You may not join more than 2 committees. Please include which position within the committee you are interested in.) All Basic Staff and Committee Chairs/Asst. Chairs  must have HTML knowledge (either raw code or an editor or both), FTP knowledge, know how to build and maintain a web site, have enthusiasm and leadership abilities. Graphics knowledge is a plus. ALL Graphics Committee members (Managers, Chairs, members) must show examples of your work. When inquiring about the Graphics Committee, be sure to give us a URL where we can see some samples of your work. We would like to see 1 - 3 of each of the following: Member Button Welcome Graphic Award (Site, Design, Committee, Member, etc.) Transparent graphics Animated graphics Background Set Please be sure to include the words "Mystik Brews" somewhere on each image, along with SAMPLE on it so that no one can use it. If you are accepted for the Graphics Committee, we may ask you to donate your original samples, (without the sample word across them, so be sure to save them with and without the "SAMPLE" on them), to Mystik Brews. Mystik Brews' Committees Founder/Owner Cheryl (Lady Airmid) Basic Staff Committees Manager (CM) Responsible for making sure all committees are running smoothly and to be sure they are active. Volunteer Volunteer Faerie Lane Manager (FLM) Responsible for making sure everything down the Faerie Lane is running smoothly. Responsible for making sure that everyone is having fun and is active there. Responsible for checking to be sure that new activities are being put up monthly AND to have some daily and weekly games as well. Faerie Lane is where everyone will go to play and have fun. Volunteer Volunteer Volunteer Volunteer Membership Manager (MM) Responsible for keeping an accurate record of active members and what committee they are on. Volunteer Volunteer Committees and Positions CM -- Musings Online Monthly Publication Chair Asst. Chair Several Members CM -- Library Listing of Books and merchandise that we recommend. Books would be mostly Pagan in nature. Merchandise could be most anything from stickers to jewelry to clothing but will also include many items for the craft (altars, incense, tools for the craft, jewelry, etc.). Chair Asst. Chair Several Members FLM -- Garden Gardening tips and hints, as well as your source to find information on herbs. Listing of older herbs and what they're known as today. Chair Asst. Chair Several Members FLM -- Kitchen Your place to learn how to make herbal teas from the herbs you can grow in your garden. Tea recipes, ritual oil recipes, cream recipes, herbal and home remedies. Chair Asst. Chair Several Members MM -- Membership Committee Our Membership Committee is responsible for helping Mystik Brews grow, by inviting folks to come join us. Chair Asst. Chair Several Members MM -- Greetings Committee Our Greeters will be responsible for welcoming new members to Mystik Brews as well as stopping by just to say hi and make a mess in their guest books, as well as, birthday and holiday wishes. Chair Asst. Chair Several Members CM -- Graphics Committee Responsible for making graphics for any committee needing graphics. Also responsible for designing and making awards for the Awards Committee. Responsible for filling graphic requests from members. Chair Asst. Chair Several Members CM -- Awards Responsible for helping create and run 2 fair awards programs. One should be for anyone who visits and applies. The second one should be available for members only to apply for. Responsible for also running some "nominated" awards (monthly member spotlight, weekly pick, founders award [which will be a recommended for award that I will choose a winner on. The only nominated site that would be known is the winner. When the winner is revealed we will also post who nominated you and their comments], etc.) Chair Asst. Chair Several Members FLM -- Events Responsible for creating and maintaining, daily, weekly and monthly games and events for our members to play and get involved with. Chair Asst.
